THE LOVE HYPOTHESIS: BOOK REVIEW

"I wish you could see yourself the way I see you." Book title: The Love Hypothesis Author: Ali Hazelwood Genre: Fiction, Contemporary Romance Overall rating: 4.5/5 As a third-year Ph.D. candidate, Olive Smith doesn't believe in lasting romantic relationships - but her best friend does, and that's exactly what got her into this situation. Where do I begin? Get Ali Hazelwood a damn prize because she created two characters who felt so real and who I cared for so quickly. To say I was invested is an understatement. I found Olive to be loveable, sweet, and a woman of integrity. And Dr. Adam Carlsen ... a true king. Grumpy with quiet confidence yet oh so kind to out heroine, charmed by her and unwittingly charming toward her, it's all very much a YES for me. THE HATING GAME: BOOK REVIEW

" When you get so little of someone, you take what you can get."

Book Title: The Hating Game

Author: Sally Thorne

Genre: Romance, Contemporary Romance, Humorous Fiction

Overall rating: 4/5

Lucy Hutton and Joshua Templeman despise each other. It's absolute hate and they have no problem in showing it with faces they make at each other and the endless game they find themselves playing every single day. But that all changes the moment their publishing firm announces a new position that interests them both and trust me they'll fight tooth and nail for it.

However, can hate truly just be that and nothing more?

The banter between Lucy and Josh was infectious and I loved that they were multilayered and deliciously opposite but clearly oh so meant to be. And god, did I absolutely love Josh! What a wonderfully written and vulnerable male love interest.

I will say that I wish we had alternating POVs, as I would have loved to know what was going on in Josh's head.

But all in all, I really enjoyed reading this haters-to-lovers trope, and it's definitely worth the hype.
